Before being marketed for sale, Central Plaza 2 underwent a major renovation of its lobby and end-of-trip facilities, all completed while maintaining full access in a live building environment. Custom laminated toughened glass panels up to 25mm thick were installed to meet wind load requirements, supported by extra heavy-duty automatic door operators designed for frequent use. The intricate steelwork patterns were echoed in the shapes of the glass panels above, with laser-cut aluminium flats providing precise surfaces for structural glazing installation. The result was a modern, functional, and visually striking lobby that combines high-performance glazing with architectural finesse.
